It uses no pulleys, chains or gears. Simply ceiling mount the standard six foot long track above the desired growing area and place the lamp-moving drive motor onto the track. The Light Rail 3.5 Intelli Drive is supplied with adjustable switch stops, so that the lamp travel distance can be adjusted to any length you wish.
This feature is perfect for keeping the light focused during the early stages of growth while slowly expanding the lamp coverage as the plants grow. |

What makes this unit shine is the adjustable 0 - 60 second time delay when the lamp reaches a switch stop. This useful feature minimizes the 'tee-pee' growth phenomenon caused by the plants under the center of the track receiving twice as much light as those on the ends. By allowing an adjustable pause at the ends, the plant canopy is kept more even over the growing area.
Accepts all vertical and horizontal horticultural HID lamp reflectors.
Add the optional RoboStick for complete stabilization of horizontal reflectors.
Available in two styles:
6 Foot, 6 RPM Intelli Drive System cycles up and back on the six foot rail between six and seven minutes, depending on time delay.
9 Foot, 10 RPM Intelli Drive System cycles up and back on the nine foot rail between 5.5 and 6.5 minutes depending on time delay.

The Hydrofarm® Light Track distributes the light evenly over your plants by slowly moving the lamp reflector back and forth across a four or six foot length.
