fruit trees and food forests

Fruit trees are a wonderful way to make your landscape beautiful and productive.

HomeHarvest specializes in growing an amazing array of perennial fruit trees, berries, nut trees, medicinal and culinary herbs, and flowers that grow well in this region.

So many wonderful fruits and berries thrive in our New England climate. Plant a fruit tree once and harvest the delicious fruit for decades!

Why Build an orchard? Fruit trees Are Beautiful & Bountiful

We incorporate our fruit trees and perennial edible plants into our customers' landscapes such that they look attractive and harmonious with the surrounding landscape. Sometimes this means that our flower gardens incorporate attractive fruit trees and look more like ornamental gardens. Sometimes this means that we install an orchard grid that is organized and cohesive.

Most of our fruit trees initially are about 6'+ tall and many bear fruit their first or second year. Our favorite fruit trees are American persimmon, Asian pear, and paw paw because of their ease of growth, aesthetic benefits, and overall success in this climate. We also love apple, peach, plum, chestnut, walnut, apricot, mulberry, figs, and berries such as blueberries, elderberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, gooseberries etc.
